I keep thinking I want to update the blog at least one time per week but I don't
think that has happened yet. I will try to get better.... So August was a little busy, we went to the Goodhue Co Fair to watch the boys show their animals, we had a wedding, and we went
on vacation to WI.

It has been a great summer, I can't believe fall is just around the corner.
Oliver is going to be 8 months already next week!! Some of his accomplishments include: weight 25#s, (if that is an accomplishment), he is slowing down though believe it or not as he only gained 1 pound this last month. He has figured out how to army crawl on his belly, so basically he is all over the place. When something is in his sights, he is bound and determined to get it, even if it means wiggling his way out of our arms, or diving downward when you are holding him. He decided he likes to stand up rather than sit. He is eating all kinds of baby foods, fruits and veggies. His hair keeps getting lighter and lighter. It used to be as dark as Robert's when he was born, now it is almost blonde. It is really cute, it almost looks like he has highlights or something. Finally, this past weekend he helped Grandma and I make spaghetti (sp?) sauce with fresh garden tomatoes and veggies. He is such a good helper and he is really good at entertaining himself. Please enjoy the pics of our August adventures!

Watching daddy mow lawn out the window. He has
to make sure he does it right!

Tubby time!

His smile is so big he can't keep his eyes open!! I think
he has figured out when I get the camera out it is
time to put on a show!!

Summer vacation, Jellystone! We had a great vacation
in WI with my entire family, except dad, who
stayed home to farm. All together I think there
were about 15 kids. We stayed in the cabins and had 4 cabins
that were conjoining so all the kids could roam about. We also did
2 meals a day all together which worked good. We had a super time
relaxing and the kids did great playing, swimming and eating!
Aubriel and Oliver loved playing on the floor together.

Daddy swimming with Oliver in his turtle floatie. I
wasn't so sure we were going to be able to use the turtle floatie
because his legs are so big the almost didn't fit into the leg holes!
Good thing they were a little stretchy! Oliver loved
the water, splashing and talking away in the pool. He didn't even
care when he got splashed by the big kids!

Another great picture of Daddy and Oliver! I don't
know what happened to the pics of Mommy and Oliver??

Bryne lovin her cousin up! She is such a
sweetheart and mini mommy. She still wants to hold him all the time,
she can't get enough of him!

We also borrowed Declan's floatie for a little while.
He didn't seem to mind this one either.

Isn't this a great pic? I don't know what I did to get
them all looking and smiling, but they did great. Uncle Ben is
holding Leetta, and Oliver and Aubriel are just chillin!

Aubriel getting some sun!

How do you know when your at a country wedding?..... When there
are tractors on display!! At my cousin's wedding, there were all
kinds of tractors to see. Although they were all the wrong color,
(I was raised on a farm with only John Deere's) it was quite the site.
Oliver thought the steering wheel was nice, he just wanted to get it in his
mouth.

Hangin with grandpa at the wedding.

Goodhue Co Fair, the boys did super showing. They were
so cute leading their heifers around!

Bryne and Declan's B-day party.

I think Grandpa needs to add some reinforcements
to his teeter totter...then more kids can pile on!!

Just hanging out at home!
