What Oliver's been up to......

New PJs, so cute, they say snorasauras! He likes them, can you tell??
I took thes last few pics just minutes ago. Did you notice the time for this
blog update, yep it is before 8 on a Sunday AM. We, meaning Oliver and I
have been up since 6ish. Usually he sleeps til about 7 but
he went to bed extra early last night so I'm not too
surprised he's up so early. Good thing I'm a morning person is
all I can say. I'll let Robert sleep a few more minutes then
we'll go jump on him in bed!! I better go, Oliver just found
the stairs!!

Helping with a little laundry, or wait maybe he just
emptied the laundry basket like usual!

Still got lots of arm rolls and chubby!! That's good,
he'll need that this winter to keep warm!!
9 months came so quick I feel like. I still can't believe i have a 9 month old
baby! Stats: 2 teeth, wt: 27#s, Ht: 30 inches, and I can't remember his head
circumfrence...it's big, he's got a big head! Which I guess is all relative to the rest of his body!
He is still off the charts, meaning over to 100 percentile compared to other boys his age.... he has been off since he was like 4 months old. I'm pretty sure he will never be on the charts again so I may as well just start calling the college football recruiters now to sign him up!
I keep thinking his 1 yr b-day is going to come really quick because usually the holidays go by really fast and then it will be January... tear.
I'm having a hard time keeping anything on his head. He likes to take
it off right away!

Another favorite of his, pulling himself up onto
anything and everything!

Just hanging pulling on Mommy's blinds!! One of
my new favorite things to do!

Hmmm he says, how can I just get to that baby!!

More girlfriends. Look at this pic, surrounded by girls!!
He wanted to get at baby Anna in the worst way...good thing
Melissa was there to hold him back.

We just had to check out that white stuff!! Brrr, it was
chilly that day!!

Oliver even got asked to dance by this little girl. She was
so sweet, she came up to Robert and asked if she could dance
with Oliver! I about started to cry righ there... my baby, already
flirting with the girls!!

Daddy got a little snuggle time. These weddings can
sure wear you out!!

Robert was in a wedding a few weeks ago so
of course we all got to get dressed up. Awe my boys look so
handsome! Oliver pretty much stole the show, he was a little shy at first but
after a little bit he was his usual smiley self for everyone!! He definately got
A LOT of attention.

Oliver's 1st tooth finally came through last week. You can just
barely see it on the bottom there. This week
the one right next to it is coming in. They
don't seem to be bothering him too much, he is
still has happy as can be! Although he hasn't
been sleeping for his usual 10 hours at night, he
still sleeps for about 8hrs so I'm not complaining!

Helping mommy with some laundry. He is getting to be so
grown up, all he wants to do is stand up and crawl
everywhere. Everytime I go to sit him down he just stands,
and he won't bend his legs. I don't know if he doesn't know how
to sit down anymore or if he just likes to stand that much. I guess he
thinks we have nothing else to do but stand next to him and
help him stand...

Last weekend Robert had to do a horse ride on

on Sunday so Oliver and I decided to go visit when he was done.

Boy does he like animals, as soon as we got close to the horses he started

hootin and hollering! He is such an entertainer! I swear he likes

everyday household items better than his toys. All I need to do

is give him a box or a glass or something and he is entertained for an hour!

Back to the horses, so I think daddy was just as excited showing him the horses.

The pics don't do the horses justice, they are so big! Robert is over 6 feet

tall and as you can see he can like just see over their backs. They are really neat

animals! I'm sure someday Oliver will be crawling up there on his own

hollering giddy up!

Last weekend I also had my Goodhue High School reunion, 10 yrs!
This was most of our class...we had a good turn out 34 out of 52 of us were there.
Don't laugh, we had a small class. It was really fun to see everyone thanks to
our wonderful planners!

Happy 8th month birthday Oliver!! Boy how you've changed our lives. I can't even explain
how much joy and happiness you bring to us! Everyday we get to wake up to
your babbles and baby talk. (or we hear you slamming your heals into you crib which in turn rattles the crib against the wall and can be heard throughout the house) You always start the day by showing us your ear to ear grin, and giving us hugs and kisses. I can't think of a better way to start the day. I think you spoil mommy and daddy with your sweet kisses and cuddles. Everyday you seem to learn new things and take on new adventures. Even in the bathtub you love it but yet you can't sit still for even a few minutes. By the time bath time is over, it feels like we also took a bath because you love splashing. It's a good thing that there are 2 of us to keep up with you otherwise on our own, we probably wouldn't last a week! However, we wouldn't change it for the world, nor would we have it any other way. You keep us on our toes!

Chillin with daddy, they're kind of matching which is so funny because
Robert always has a fit if we are going out and we are dressed somewhat similar. He is always like, you need to change cause we are not matching!

For some reason he loves my breast pump. Not really sure why but somehow he
got the strap around his waist and was crawling with it. Of course he had to stop
and pose when I got the camera.

Getting more and more independent, venturing into the bathroom.

I don't think Oliver can get any sweeter! You can't really see his shirt but it says
king of charm, which is Oliver through and through!

Always doing something with a hand by the mouth, in the mouth,
or around the mouth!

So grandma and I were busy canning spaghetti and I guess Oliver thought it would be fun to
scoot under the stool. At first he didn't really care, then he realized he was stuck and didn't like it as much!
